How to Use Saved Data
-
Click
on the GO-mode button. A menu will come up that lets you select
Live Data or Saved Data. Select Saved Data, and either
Single (if you want to access one data file at a time) or Sequence
(if you want to access a set of data files that were saved, one after the
other without pause).
- The GO button
will change to indicate your selection.
-
Now,
clicking on the GO button will bring up a dialog that lets you select a
data file. You can select any file format that M1 supports.
- If you have selected a
Sequence, you should select a file that has a naming format that
includes an underscore followed by a number, such as
se23_00000.vvt. If M1 detects this naming format with the mode set
to Sequence, it will automatically look for the next files in the
sequence: se23_00001.vvt,
se23_00002.vvt, etc. M1 will stop processing
a sequence when it runs out of files, or when you click on STOP.
- After you select a
saved data file, M1 will read in the file, and you can do any measurements you
want on the data. You are not restricted to measurements that you
performed when the data was acquired. M1 treats the data as if it were just
acquired from the scope.
