Promotion Rules


Eligibility

  • Available to owners of qualified Tektronix real-time oscilloscopes.
    • The specific scope families covered by this promotion are: DPO/DSA70000B series; MSO70000 series; DPO7000 series; TDS5000B series; DPO/MSO4000 series; DPO/MSO3000 series; TDS3000C series; DPO/MSO2000 series
    • Your scope's model number must match one of the above-listed families exactly to be eligible.  For instance, DPO7000 series scopes are eligible, but TDS7000 series scopes are not.
  • Applicant must watch all three Mini-Flight School Training Videos (15 min) and sign a certification – no exceptions.
  • Applicant must be a current employee of a North America-located or North America-based company with 25 or more full-time employees that makes hardware rather than software products, or a current full-time employee of a US or Canadian government lab.
  • ASA must receive a completed application for your M1 Standard license prior to the termination of the program. ASA, its employees, assigns, and agents are not responsible or liable for delays in delivery of your application to ASA caused by weather conditions, carrier delays, equipment malfunctions, or any other circumstances beyond our control.
  • You must install and license M1 Standard within 30 days of being provided the download instructions.

    You will qualify to apply for the M1 Standard promotion if and only if you fulfill all of the above requirements. Once ASA has approved and verified your information, you will be instructed on how to download M1 Standard and obtain your license.

Upgrade Rights

Within 30 day of obtaining a license, the licensee has the right to upgrade to a full license of the then-current version of M1 Waveform Tools Ultimate at a cost of 10% off from the normal list price of such license, as well as two licenses for M1 Reader, a 25% discount on SimBridge if purchased on the same PO, and one e-mail Support Incident. Between 30 and 60 days after obtaining a license, an M1 Standard license from this promotion will receive two licenses for M1 Reader if upgraded.

Licensing Details

  • An extension package which includes the most recent updates and bug-fixes must be downloaded and installed not more than once per four months in order for M1 Standard to continue functioning. If it is not installed, M1 Standard will slowly degrade in capabilities.
  • Licensing details for this promotion may vary from the official M1 Standard Licensing Details or other promotions.

Restrictions

  • The Standard Edition Program begins on 18 May 2010 and will end on 15 September 2010.
  • ASA reserves the right to limit quantities, and the right to modify or terminate the promotion at any time without prior notice.
  • Only one license of M1 Standard can be installed per eligible scope.
  • A maximum of 10 licenses of M1 Standard per customer site/campus will be allowed under this promotion
  • Applicant must provide a valid corporate email, phone number, and address. No Yahoo, Gmail, AOL, etc. email address will be accepted.
  • The M1 Standard license must be activated within 30 days of the download instructions being provided to the user or it will become invalid
  • This promotion is not available to companies in the test & measurement business, software companies, measurement-for-hire companies, rental/leasing companies, and consulting firms.
  • This promotion is designed to establish relationships with new customers. Customers presently engaged in evaluating M1 Ultimate are not eligible for this promotion.
  • ASA reserves the right to exclude companies or individuals from this promotion without cause
  • The installation is a one time action. If the program is uninstalled, it cannot be reinstalled.
  • The customer is financially responsible for the actual cost of a full M1 Oscilloscope Tools Ultimate license if ASA discovers that intentionally false information was used in obtaining an M1 Standard license.
  • ASA may occasionally request Licensee to provide the M1 Standard License Enforcement Code generated by the software. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the M1 Standard license.
  • Amherst Systems Associates Terms and Conditions, and the Customer License Agreement for M1 Software are incorporated herein by reference.
