We think that M1 compares very favorably with any other jitter and timing analysis software that is available, and also offers capabilities that no other software in its class has.  We have a table to help you compare M1’s features to other software.

The key, though, is whether you can use M1 Oscilloscope Tools with your scope or not.  M1 will run internally on a scope that has Windows 2000 or Windows XP as its operating system, or M1 can run on an external PC that is connected to the scope through either a USB or GPIB port.  We have a list of scopes that we are compatible with.
